"Salsa Mundial" is a production that goes further than the conventional. With this album Gerardo Rosales expresses the importance of the coexistence and the cultural integration. On "Salsa Mundial" you can listen to different songs sung in Dutch, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Finnish and Creole of Curacao (Papiamento). Salsa with influences of fado, flamenco, tango, Jazz, R&B and rhythms from Arabia, the Caribbean, Africa and South America.

This album includes 10 original compositions of Gerardo Rosales and themes from other important composers like Thé Lau, Veikko Niittynen, Maria Weber, Leonard Garcia and the Puerto Rican composer Tite Curet Alonzo who is responsible for the most important successes from the Fania All Stars in the sixties and seventies.  A multicultural and international album with musicians from Venezuela, Russia, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Holland, Germany, The USA, Turkey, Curacao, Uruguay, Argentina, Finland and Spain.
