Los Gatos, a working band from Michigan was formed in 1992 by Pete Siers, band leader and drummer. "Insight" their second album (see also Cat's Got Your Tongue? CD) is a selection of mambos, cha cha cha, pachangas, boleros, samba, charanga and other traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms with Latin jazz influences from Cal Tjader, Mongo Santamaria, Joe Cuba, Tito Puente, Joe Loco, Eddie Palmieri. Musicians: Pete Siers, timbal, Al DiBlassio, conga & vocal, Cary Kocher, vibraphone & vocal, Brian DiBlassio, piano & vocal, and Kurt Krahnke, bass & vocal.
